I checked the trivia and comments page for the movie on IMDB and they filmed the english, russian and romanian version separately. So each of the language versions are really a movie on their own.

So I guess the russian actors spoke and sung in their bad english. Then it was dubbed by english actors and singers afterwards. According the ending text on the english version, the recording of the english version was made in Studio Trident, London. Beatles used that studio in the 60s. (с)

Судя по комментам мало кто видел этот фильм на английском, а на Амазоне он на русском только. И все пишут, что когда были маленькие...

Когда я была маленькой, я смотрела фильм в самом большом кинотеатре города. Он вызывает у меня двоякое впечатление. ))) И нравится, и не нравится. )))
